To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions with reference to the estimates of likely take-up of family-based maintenance arrangements at paragraph 4 of his Department's impact assessment on the Child Maintenance Green Paper, if he will estimate the likely effect of the take-up of such arrangements on (a) the running costs of the proposed statutory child support system and (b) the number of cases to be handled under that system.
