To ask the Secretary of State for Justice what estimate his Department has made of the effects of the implementation of his proposed changes to the legal aid scheme on the number of litigants in person involved in court proceedings; and what assessment he has made of the effects of any change in the number of such litigants on the costs of HM Courts Service.
