You know it makes sense ... Remember that at an election, if a ward has 10,000 eligible voters in it, with a 45% (and that's relatively high!) turnout that means only 4,500 people actually vote .. if the MP is voted in with 40% (again relatively high!) of that turnout it means only 18% (1,800) of the people are effectively controlling the other 82% (8,200) !! Not exactly majority rule is it ???
Get involved and make a difference - otherwise, you have abdicated any right to EVER complain about the government in power and what they do!
